Why flavoured toothpicks?
The wooden taste of “normal” toothpicks has always been too bland for us. That’s why we did a lot of tinkering and developed the Zunder toothpicks after countless attempts. They provide fresh breath after meals, add variety to your everyday life and can even help you quit smoking. When and why you use the Zunder toothpicks is up to you. Let your imagination run wild!
Why are we called Zunder?
First we developed the Cinnamon flavour. The name Zunder was forged from the flames of fiery heat. Zunder is the generic term for highly flammable materials that are used to start fires.
Why the woodpecker in the logo?
The woodpecker loves wood – just like us. The logo symbolizes our passion for the pleasure of toothpicks.

How high are the shipping costs?
From CHF 26.00 shopping cart value, shipping in Switzerland is free.
Up to CHF 25.99 shopping cart value, shipping costs CHF 4.00.
How long does it take for an order to arrive?
Orders are usually dispatched the day after receipt of payment. Shipped from Thurgau.
Your order should arrive within 2-3 days.

Yes, in Switzerland you can get Tinder toothpicks in a few selected stores.
Product & flavour
Where are the toothpicks made?
The production of Zunder toothpicks with flavour is administered by Zunder ZMG GmbH. Production takes place at the ABA Amriswil social workshop in Switzerland. In the absence of Swiss manufacturers, flavourless toothpicks, flavours and packaging are imported.
How are the toothpicks made?
The secret of the Zunder recipe is more closely guarded than the recipe for Coca Cola. 😉 What we can reveal: The toothpicks soak airtight in our secret flavour recipe and are then dried and packaged. We use natural and artificial flavourings in our recipes.
What is the shelf life of the toothpicks?
Unopened, the Zunder toothpicks have a shelf life of 4 months. Once opened, they should be consumed within 1 month.
How long does the taste last in the mouth?
The intense flavour of the Zunder toothpicks lasts for about 15 minutes. The flavour then becomes more subtle.
Do flavored toothpicks have calories?
Zunder toothpicks have virtually no calories. It is estimated that a toothpick contains between 0.1 and a maximum of 3 calories. This depends on the flavor, the proximity to the knothole (absorbency of the wood), the duration of chewing and the age of the pack (evaporation).
